Shallow Runner's proprietary love joy coupler designed for mating the Predator/Clone Engine 1" keyed straight shaft clone engines to Waverunner 650cc/701cc/760cc, 144mm diameter pumps. This will not fit the Waverunner 500cc / LX650cc, 133mm pumps, please see our other listing for those.
We have not currently tested the 144mm pumps with clone engines, however an initial customer report in a heavier, fiberglass boat showed 20mph with a Predator 420 with a carb and pipe and an 80hp Yamaha prop. This would likely perform even better with a lighter boat and a 50hp impeller.
To verify for your application, these couplers are approximately 105mm in diameter. They will not work with couplers with straight profile teeth as shown in the pictures.
Included with package is one solid billet coupler machined in USA, one heavy duty stainless retention washer, one stainless coupler retention bolt for both Predator Style 420 / Predator 212 Style engines, one retention collar for 1" shafts.
This shaft will fit any clone engine with 1" shaft as sold. This can be adapted to 3/4" shaft with shaft reduction adapter for 3/4" engines such as the 212cc / 224cc Predator or clone engines.
